I started doing this for free.

I found serious problems on a local web design company's own website. Exposed admin login, a full e-commerce suite running with no store, their entire 2021 site still published at a forgotten URL. I walked into their office and told them what I found. Then I went home, compiled a detailed email with screenshots, links, and a breakdown of every issue on their site and their clients' sites. Sent it. Followed up.

Never heard back. Not even a "thanks, we're looking into it." Just silence.

That told me everything I needed to know about how they view the local businesses trusting them with their online presence. So I decided to do it right. For the businesses around here that actually deserve someone in their corner. Not someone who profits off what you don't know. Someone who just fixes it.
